Bitacurry in El Nuevo Día - Tham Kong Lo
Tham Kong Lo is a 7.5 km. cave in Central Laos that has a navigable river running through it. Gingerly puttering up the river through its massive chambers was quite a surreal experience. We went there on a rainy day and throughout the day my mind was filled with images of my grandmother screaming at me to get out of the rain. The rest of my brain space was simply in awe of the immensity. As I wrote in the article: I was trying to keep my mouth closed. Trying.
I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to share stories like this one and I have to thank all of you for giving me the chance to do it. I will be forever grateful.
